Lives Restored. Purpose Rediscovered. Futures Rebuilt.
At Kathy’s House, we believe recovery is about more than sobriety. It’s about restoring lives, rediscovering purpose, and helping men and women step into the future God created for them.
Since our last newsletter, we’ve seen incredible momentum. Residents have graduated from the program, stepped into employment, begun vocational training, and even entered the recovery field to help others find the same freedom they found.
Each of these milestones represents a life moving forward — a story of hope being rewritten.
None of this happens alone. These moments are made possible through the prayers, encouragement, and generosity of people who believe in this mission.
Because of your support, lives are changing.
Three Women Graduate
Over the past several months, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating three women graduating from Kathy’s House. Each graduated in a different month, but together they represent the powerful impact of sustained recovery, discipleship, and community.
Christina recently completed the program and has already taken an inspiring next step. She has enrolled in school to become a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC), pursuing a future where she can help others find freedom from addiction. She is also a devoted mother to her daughter, baby Amelia. Watching her grow in both recovery and motherhood is a beautiful reminder of what restoration can look like for an entire family.
Jessica has stepped into a powerful new season. After graduating, she joined the Kathy’s House team and now serves in the very ministry that helped transform her life. She is also halfway through the Kingdom School of Ministry, continuing to grow spiritually and develop as a leader.
Bria has also completed the program and is stepping forward with faith into what’s next. She is currently seeking the right career path—one where her gifts and talents can flourish. We are excited to see how God leads her in this new season of opportunity.
Seeing these women graduate and step into purpose is one of the greatest joys of our work.
From Recovery to
Helping Others Recover
One of the most powerful transformations we witness at Kathy’s House is when those who once needed help begin helping others.
Chase, a recent graduate, has stepped into a role in the recovery field, walking alongside others as they begin their own journey toward freedom.
Joseph has also entered the recovery field, using his story and lived experience to bring hope and healing to those who are still struggling.
Another graduate, Joseph, is now doing the same—serving others in recovery and continuing the powerful cycle of restoration that began in his own life.
Stories like these remind us that recovery doesn’t just change one life—it multiplies hope, purpose, and impact.
Building Skills for the Future
Long-term restoration requires more than sobriety. It requires skills, opportunity, and purpose.
Several men connected to Kathy’s House are currently pursuing welding training, opening doors to stable and sustainable careers.
Ralphie is currently enrolled in welding school and is taking meaningful steps toward a strong and self-sufficient future.
Shane and Joey, both graduates of Kathy’s House, are also continuing their training in welding—building not only careers, but confidence and direction for the road ahead.
These opportunities provide more than employment—they restore dignity, cultivate independence, and create a foundation for lasting stability.
More Graduations on the Horizon
The momentum continues as more residents prepare to complete the program.
Joseph, Harold, and Ralphie are all approaching graduation, and we look forward to celebrating the transformation that has taken place in their lives.
Each upcoming graduation represents more than a milestone—it’s a life rebuilt, a family impacted, and a powerful story of hope in the making.
