A Day of Victory, Worship, and Celebration
This month, the Kathy's House family experienced one of the most memorable and meaningful gatherings in our ministry's history.
We recently celebrated the graduations of Joseph, Ralphie, and Elisabeth, three individuals whose lives have been transformed through faith, perseverance, and the restoring power of Jesus Christ. Their testimonies reminded us all that recovery is possible and that God is still changing lives every day.
The celebration was made even more special as Paul Jackson led us in worship, creating an atmosphere of gratitude, hope, and praise. Together we lifted up the name of Jesus and reflected on His faithfulness throughout each graduate's journey.
For the first time, the entire Kathy's House family gathered in one place. Men and women from our residential programs, graduates, staff members, volunteers, and supporters all came together as one community. It was a beautiful picture of what God has built through this ministry over the years.
The day was filled with powerful testimonies, laughter, fellowship, worship, and countless reminders of God's goodness. We witnessed firsthand the victories that occur when people are given the opportunity to encounter Christ, receive support, and walk a path of restoration.
What makes these graduations especially meaningful is seeing our graduates step into productive and purpose-filled lives.
Ralphie recently earned his welding certifications and is now working as a trainer at a welding school, helping equip others with valuable skills and opening doors to new opportunities.
Joseph is now employed as a Behavioral Technician at a local recovery organization, using his own journey and experience to help others find freedom and healing.
Elisabeth has secured employment in the hospitality industry and continues to build a strong foundation for her future.
These stories are reminders that recovery is about much more than overcoming addiction or homelessness. It is about discovering purpose, restoring dignity, rebuilding families, and becoming the people God created us to be.
As we looked around the room, we saw lives restored, families reunited, and a community united by a shared mission: helping men and women discover freedom, purpose, and hope in Christ.
Ireland Outreach Trip – July 2026
We are also excited to share that Jon and Sue will be leading a team of four Kathy's House graduates to Ireland in early July for an outreach mission trip.
The team will be serving in some of the most challenging areas of Dublin, sharing the love of Christ, ministering to those struggling with addiction, homelessness, and hopelessness, and demonstrating that the hope they found through Jesus is available to others around the world.
For many of these graduates, this trip represents a powerful full-circle moment. Individuals who once came to Kathy's House seeking help are now being sent out to serve and minister to others.
We would greatly appreciate your prayers for safe travels, divine appointments, and lasting impact.
If you would like to help support this outreach effort financially, we would be incredibly grateful. Any contribution, large or small, will help make this mission possible and allow these graduates to share the hope of Christ internationally.
